Send feedback

Open Settings → Feedback. Include what you tried, what happened and what you expected. Choose Send feedback to send it privately to the team, or Save a copy to keep a text file on your computer. No extra account is needed.

A separate public support email is not available yet. If the app cannot open, the in-app contact route will be unavailable; keep a note of the problem for when you can reach us. We will add an email contact here when it is ready.

Install or update the beta

Download the tester ZIP, extract it and run Setup. START-HERE.txt has the short guide. When updating a website-installed copy, run Setup without uninstalling first; it requests a safe app exit and preserves history and settings. Microsoft Store manages updates for Store-installed copies.

The window closed, but tracking is still active

Closing the window leaves the app in the Windows tray. Open it again from the tray icon, pause tracking in the app, or use Exit in the tray menu to stop it.

Website blocking and browser setup

Website rules and daily limits need the optional browser companion and a working connection to the desktop app. Follow the browser guide included with the installation and use the connection controls in Settings. Firefox/Zen’s beta extension is temporarily loaded and must be loaded again after a browser restart. The desktop tracker works without the extension.

Try blocking carefully

Permanent blocking in Focus works independently of timed sessions. Test it with an application that has no unsaved work: blocking can close an application after it starts. This beta is not tamper-proof or parental-control software.

Privacy and your data

Activity history is local. Feedback is sent only when you choose, without automatically attaching your history. Read the privacy policy for retention, exclusions, optional title recording and privacy requests.
